The COVID19 stay at home orders in many cities has given us time to be present with ourselves, but loneliness is the backside of this predicament. Our thoughts are our constant companion and often run astray, leading us down a worrying path. Let’s change the pattern.
Whose your imaginary friend?
The solitude of eating dinner can be an especially down time, so why not bring back the childhood practice of an imaginary friend, but as an adult, you will upgrade this being. If you connect with angels, deities, or ascended masters, why not invite them to your feast?
Invite an Enlightened Guest
The practice when having guests over is to make yourself more presentable than when you are alone, set a pleasing table, and use the good dishes. I don’t always eat in my dining room, but when I am feeling the seclusion of COVID19, I follow the practice I just described.
I have a friend who’s husband, of over fifty years, was in the hospital, and she could not visit him. She was afraid to be home by herself, so knowing her spiritual beliefs I felt I could show her how to release her fears. I told her to set a lovely table and invite St. Germaine for dinner. Excited, she took the idea and ran with it. She called her sisters and friends, and they jumped on board. They all claimed it worked, and they are feeling lighter by connecting to the unseen, but ever-present light being around us.
Don’t let COVID19 lead to loneliness, we will get through this by being there for each other, sharing our thoughts and above, all sending out love.
