So what do you do when you have too many things happening at one time and become stressed? Do you become confused and unable to address anything, or do you become completely undone and react to others in ways that do not serve you or those around you? Either way is not good for your physical or mental health. I will give you a simple way (because that is what I do,) to alleviate the stress caused by these situations.
As you may know, the mind works with images not words. Therefore, create an image that will show you what is of the highest priority on your list. Picture each item as balls of different colors. Imagine that they are bouncing in front of your field of vision. Notice how some drop and dribble away from your sight as others rebound up into your sight. These are the ones that require your attention. The ones that dribbled away can be dealt with at a later time.
Making a choice about what needs your attention in this moment will then become easy. If you use your time and energy to analyze which one needs your immediate attention, the process of making that choice can add undue stress. Use the picture of the bouncing balls, each designated in a color to reflect an item on your list. Then let your subconscious mind show you the next step. No need to juggle your options, merely let go and allow the balls to fall where they may.
