While traveling in Chicago, I visited Millennium Park just north of the Art Institute, to experience The Bean, a reflective architectural sculpture that allows you to see yourself inverted, distorted, and enveloped by the Chicago skyline.
Reflections happen all the time. You can see your self-image on a store front window, in a calm lake, in a mirror, or in the eyes of another. But what are these reflections telling you? Do you see yourself as you are or as you think you are according to your mood that day?
Today, notice when your reflection catches your eye and pay attention to your thought. Is it positive or negative? Embrace the positive thoughts and readjust the negative ones. It only takes a moment but the effects can last a lifetime.
In the Light,
Marnie
