It is April and springtime in the Rockies, and as usual, it is snowing. As I watched the snowfall, I could not contain myself. I had to go out for a walk in the cold and snow. As I ventured through my neighborhood, I observed the usual things: houses, budding gardens, wet roads and sidewalks, and then I began to look up at the snow, and it was beautiful! I was mesmerized.
So often we find ourselves walking and not even really looking at our surroundings. Today I watched the snowflakes softly drifting down to the earth, hitting my nose and melting on my lips. I thought about how I do not always appreciate the simplest things that occur each and every day.
As you read this blog, take a moment to look out from your computer or ISO device, and observe what is close to you that can bring you gratitude.
I for one am grateful that you take a moment out of your day to listen to my thoughts.
In love and appreciation for you,
Marnie
