One of my dearest friends passed on last fall, and I still have moments when I really miss talking to her. You too might be missing the kind of communication that is personal and connects to your heart. Perhaps you have not had a close friend to share your deepest thoughts in a long time.
The question is how do you fill that void when there is no one to listen to your adventures or to confide in. Even after you lose a friend or family member you can still share your thoughts with them. You may find that writing can be a very powerful tool. It can be done in a letter or a journal.
When you put your thoughts down on paper they change from what has been running in your head like a continuous tape into a release. Through writing you can talk to the deceased, clear your mind, calm your emotions and receive messages and the love that surrounds you.
I find my language is different when I write than when I speak, and it gives me clarity. The act of writing may open you to new concepts. Try it and see how it works for you.
