What happens when reality appears to slip away? Have there been times in your life when you wondered if you were looking at a movie when in fact you were the star of some bizarre event? Sometimes we just want to know, “Why me?” A better question might be, “How can I stay balanced when the world around me feels like it’s falling apart?”
Let me enlighten you.
• Stay in present time. Focus on your breath.
• Let your body feel the tension. Just allow it to move through you.
• It is okay, in fact, it is helpful to cry. Tears are a form of release.
• Pay attention to the way Spirit is helping you. There are lessons here.
• Trust the Universe to provide. Connect to your higher power for guidance.
When you are in present time, stress can be minimized. When your mind is racing and trying to understand what caused the situation you are experiencing, it feeds the fire of stress. So does attempting to analyze what will be happening in the future. Your mind wants answers and thus attempts to make decisions which are often unnecessary. With time, the answers come easily. Be patient and trust in the process.
Your body is quite wise. If you learn to listen to it, the answers you are searching for will be provided. Do not try to shut off your emotional and physical sensations. Rather acknowledge their meaning. When your body is recording tension and stress, it is giving you a message that adjustments need to be made. Pay attention and act on the information at hand.
Tears are a natural and helpful release. The body needs to let go, and if you try to hold back this dam of emotion, your body will ultimately respond with more negativity. Many illnesses and forms of depression or anxiety are the result of stored negative emotion. I find my tears come when I least expect it. As long as my mind is engaged in what is required of me in a challenging experience, my tears are contained. Once the requirements are handled, the tears break through. I say let them come.
Your intuition is very heightened in a traumatic situation. Pay attention to the synchronicities that are occurring. Observe how people show up to assist you at just the right time. You may find that when you think there is no hope left, the unexpected appears. Each time you acknowledge this apparent magic, it creates a space for more to manifest. Speak of its existence to another and write it down. This will bring you peace.
Above all, trust the power and divine wisdom which surrounds you. There is always, not sometimes, but always a reason for the situation. Tune in by taking a breath and affirm there is a higher power which can make the changes to turn this situation around. Know the reason for the experience will be shown to you. Use what you know to research it.
Pull out a divination deck and see what shows up. Because an outside party can often point out something you have missed, ask a friend to join you, but remember to follow your body’s deep knowing. If the information shared does not resonate in your body, dismiss it and keep looking.
